We had a pc party and had to provide all the food which we accepted seeing as we would be eating it. However even though all the people that came to the party made an order the consultant said there wasnt enough orders to provide a gift for us.

She then asked us to go out to our work mates and friends to get more orders. Aslo the products are delivered to our house and we have to deliver them.

What have we got out of it but a lot of hassle for someonelses business???

Is this how pc works? I run my own business and would love to get everyone else doing all the work for me while I sit back and take the orders in.

Location: England, United Kingdom

I was shocked by how this company runs things as well. It was interesting that the consultant was also "upset" that I didn't order much over my hosting amount.

She took it upon herself to take advantage of my percentage off and bought a lot of items for herself under my name.

Then she had the nerve to demand the freebie item. Never again...shady, expensive, not worth it.

Yes, this is how this company works. Your host or hostess should have explained it to you before the party.

Additionally, the catalogs that you ordered from and the flyers that were probably at the party say the exact same thing. At the back of the catalogs, there is a list of the rewards that you can receive if you have a certain amount in sales at your party. If you don't make a $200, $400, $600 etcs party, then obviously you don't get the benefits that come at that tier. I understand having legitimate issues with companies but some problems and misunderstandings people bring upon themselves by not reading.

Don't be angry at the company because you didn't read the information presented to you or didn't ask for clarification on points you didn't understand.

I'm not a consultant and don't represent this company in any fashion. However, I think this is not a legitimate gripe with the company but rather a problem of your own creation.
