The Pampered Chef - Poor quality items
We have several products that did not hold up well. Contacted our Pampered Chef representative and she told us that the warranty was out on all of these products, but they have different products now and if I wanted to purchase them, I surely could. That won't be happening...
Here's a video of the items that failed on us: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9lMx8x_O6I
- Spatula handle cracked and fell off leaving us with just the little metal tab to hold onto if we wanted to use it anymore
- Spoon rubber bottom piece of handle that was glued on fell off
- Mixing pitcher warped at the top making the lid hard to get on and nearly impossible to turn once it is on
- Bowl developed a crack on the inside, but not the outside - allowing juices to fill the invisible cavity and making it so that the bowl can never be cleaned again - yuck!
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $80.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Pampered Chef Cons: Poor customer service.
Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota

do they sell online?
The only things that I have had that have broken are the ones that my children mis-used or abused in some way!! Everything I have ever purchased has stood the test of time!
well then, you must be a representative of pampered chef
I've had many Pampered Chef products for years and have never had one fall apart on me *IF* I followed the care directions. Also, it does make a difference whether they were purchased through a consultant or Pampered Chef website vs a garage sale, on Amazon, Ebay, etc. They only guarantee the ones they ship directly from their location to a hostess, directly to you, or a consultant.
I agree the products do not hold up. Several items I have purchased have been tossed.
The baking stone items, wooden spoons, and glass batter bowls have been great. They have held up well.
Did you put any of this stuff in the dishwasher? Did any of this stuff get heated above what they can stand?
Just asking because I love my items I have and even if it says dishwasher safe I still hand wash them.
Just want to know what type of of items like was it a mini or a noodle spoon? Things like that because when I go to do my next order I will be asking my rep to help me out with those items.
